February 24th @ Oddfellows Hall Time/Attendance: 7 - 10 All Ages Price: $3 at the door Bands: SLU, Fitswitch, Soldiers of Misfortune This is gonna be awesome to have acoustic duo SLU (Shannon and Steph) come out and play. They haven't played since HeatWave. Both of them have heavenly voices and since one goes away to school.. this is your only shot to catch them. Of Course everyone knows Fitswitch.. crazy rockers who blend a ton of genres and have a great live show. Soldiers are an insanely talented metal band who have been around for just over a year now. Can't wait to catch them out as well. Gates of Winter have a whole setlist of originals, a new drummer and we are damn itching to play. Come check it out.. only $3! Cheers www.gatesofwinter.com

Not bad. You guys should really get your old drummer back. He really had much more going on and made the band sound better. The crowd would indicate that as well.
But I mean, if you like Playing for a bunch of 14 and 15 year olds that don't really understand the type of music you are playing, I guess it's ok.

While your opinion is taken and appreciated, we will not be bringing back any previous members. Kevin has brought to the band exactly what we want as a group, regardless of what some 14/15 year olds want/understand.

I am only saying from an outsiders p/o/v. The old drummer was much better.

Bry Thanks for not sugar coating anything. Our old member will not make a comeback. Kevo has brought us to a point where we are all very comfortable being. It was his first show with us.. and our first show since August 31st.. might take a few before we all feel comfortable on the stage again. And we are playing all new songs as well.. so that will take some time before the crowd can respond to them.. hard to get into what you don't know ( from my experience anyways). The sound wasnt that great (I'll take all blame for that).. he was in the dark alot of the night lol.. next time Hopefully you'll check us out again and your opinion might change. If not.. pop in the old demo and enjoy those tunes.

Does anyone know what Jim is doing now? He hasn't been on msn in forever and I'd like to hear a new band with him in it. Easily the best drummer in the Soo.

Jim is in a new band, terminal. So don't worry, he hasn't gone anywhere. Terminal should be playing shows within a month.
